Go-live checklist: be ready for your first order

Your website can be live within minutes of signing up, but a few more steps make sure your first order goes smoothly. Work down this list in order.

Add your menu. Create categories and items with prices and photos. See Add and organize menu items.
Set your business hours. Customers can only schedule inside your open hours. See Set your business hours.
Set prep times. Tell us how much lead time pickup and delivery need. See Turn on online ordering and set prep times.
Check your taxes and tips. Add your tax rate and adjust the tip buttons. See Set up tax rates.
Connect Square. Without it, customers can only choose Pay at counter. See Connect Square.
Connect Uber Direct if you offer delivery. See Connect Uber Direct.
Turn on online ordering. Open Settings and switch on Enable online ordering.
Publish. Click Publish so the live site matches your edits.
Place a test order. See Place a test order.
Open your Kitchen Display on the counter tablet so you hear new orders. See Use the Kitchen Display.
Add billing before your 14-day trial ends. See Your free trial and billing.
