Add and organize menu items
Updated October 2, 2026
Your menu is the heart of your site. The same menu powers your website, your ordering page and your kitchen screens.
Add a category
- Open Menu in the sidebar under Site Manager.
- Click Add category and give it a name, such as Breakfast or Drinks.
- Save it. Every item needs a category to appear anywhere, so add your categories first.
Add an item
- Open the category and click to add an item.
- Enter the Item name, an optional Description, and the Price.
- Add a photo with Item image. See Upload photos that sell.
- Choose the Category it belongs to.
- Set the availability switches described below.
- Save. A confirmation appears.
- Click Publish in the top bar so customers see it.
Availability: two switches that are easy to mix up
- Available controls whether the item appears on your public menu at all. Turn it off for something you've stopped serving. The item is hidden completely.
- Available for ordering controls whether a visible item can be added to a cart. Turn it off for "we're out of this today". The item stays on the menu but shows as sold out.
- Pickup available and Delivery available let you offer an item for pickup only or delivery only. An item switched off for delivery is hidden from customers who choose delivery, and likewise for pickup.
Edit, reorder and delete
- Click any item to edit it. Prices, names and descriptions update everywhere after you publish.
- Deleting an item removes it from your menu and a confirmation appears. Past orders that included it are not affected.
- To change the order your categories appear in, use the Layout page. See Add order links and arrange your menu page.
Tip: Every change saves to a draft. Customers see it only after you click Publish.
