How scheduled orders and lead times work
Updated October 2, 2026
Customers can order for as soon as possible or schedule an order for later. You control what's offered with your business hours and prep times.
What customers can choose
- Time slots run every 15 minutes.
- They can schedule for today and the next five days.
- Slots only appear inside your business hours. A closed day shows as closed.
- The earliest slot depends on your prep time.
Minimum lead times
Awwranges applies a platform minimum no matter what you set: at least 15 minutes for pickup and 30 minutes for delivery. Your own prep time can only make this longer.
Set your hours and prep times
- Open Settings.
- In Business hours, set open and close times for each day, or mark a day Closed.
- In Prep times, set how many minutes pickup and delivery need.
- Save each panel. Changes apply immediately without publishing.
If a customer's time passes
If a customer picks a time and then waits too long to check out, they're told it has passed and the order is placed for as soon as possible instead.
Tip: If your kitchen gets swamped at lunch, raise your prep time during those weeks rather than turning ordering off.
