Edit your website sections

Updated October 2, 2026

The Website editor controls everything on your public homepage. Open it with Edit Website on your dashboard. The left column holds your sections, and the live preview on the right updates as you type.

The sections

  • Nav: up to five links, plus your order button label, shown in the header.
  • Hero: the first thing visitors see: headline, subtext, buttons and an image.
  • Marquee: a scrolling band of short phrases below the hero.
  • About: your story, principles and team.
  • Menu: highlights pulled from your Menu page.
  • Gallery: a photo grid.
  • FAQ: questions and answers in an accordion.
  • Contact: a short line above your address, hours and map.

Which sections appear depends on your template. See Choose a website template.

Turn a section on or off

  1. Open the section's row in the left column.
  2. Use its visibility switch.

A hidden section doesn't appear on your live site at all, rather than showing up empty. Your content is kept for when you turn it back on.

Reorder sections

Drag a section by its handle to move it. Navigation and Hero stay pinned at the top, and FAQ and Contact stay pinned at the bottom. Everything between can be rearranged.

Change a section's layout

On the Classic template, Hero, About, Menu, Gallery and Contact sections have a Change layout button. A preview shows each option before you apply it, and your content is unaffected by a layout change.

Section colors and fonts

Each section has color and font controls so you can make one stand out without changing the rest of the site.

Save and publish

Edits save to your draft automatically. Click Publish to put them live. See Publish your website.
