Publish your website

Updated October 2, 2026

Everything you change in the portal saves automatically to a draft. Customers keep seeing your last published version until you publish, so you can work at your own pace without half-finished edits going live.

Publish your changes

  1. Make your edits. The portal saves them as you type.
  2. Check the live preview or the dashboard's Website Overview to confirm it looks right.
  3. Click Publish in the top bar of the portal.
  4. Wait for the confirmation. Your live site updates within moments.

Save a draft without publishing

Save Draft saves your work immediately but leaves the live site untouched. You rarely need it, because changes also save automatically.

Which changes need publishing?

Publish whenever you change what visitors see or can order: your menu (items, prices, photos, sold-out switches), the Website editor, branding, canvas and template, order links, the Landing Page, legal pages and SEO.

These settings are different. They save when you click their own Save button or switch, and take effect on the live site straight away without publishing: your café profile, business hours, online ordering on or off, prep times, tip buttons, tax rates, the loyalty program and your order-direct discount.

Tip: The dashboard's Last Published card shows when you last went live, so you can tell at a glance whether unpublished edits are waiting.
