Invite your team

You can invite the people who help run your café, such as a manager or a barista, so nobody has to share your login. Only the owner can invite people.

What each role can do

• Owner (you): everything, including billing, integrations, your domain, the team and deleting the café.
• Editor: updates the menu, website and orders, looks after customers and loyalty, and can publish. Editors can't see or change billing, integrations or your domain, can't manage the team and can't delete the café.
• Viewer: can look around the menu, orders and analytics, but can't change anything. A bar at the top reminds them of this.

Invite someone

1. 1Open Account in the sidebar, then Team.
2. 2Type their email address, choose Editor or Viewer, and select Send invite.
3. 3They get an email from hello@awwranges.com with an Accept invitation button.
4. 4They create an account, or sign in if they already have one, using the same email address the invitation was sent to. Then they select Join.

Good to know

• A café has 5 seats and you take one, so you can invite up to 4 people. Invitations that haven't been accepted yet use a seat too.
• An invitation link works for 7 days, and only for the email address it was sent to. In the Team list you can Resend it, which sends a fresh link and switches off the old one, or Cancel it.
• If the email can't be sent, the page shows the link so you can copy it and send it yourself.
• Someone can belong to one café at a time. If an email address already runs its own café, it can't join another, so invite a different address.

Change a role or remove someone

In the Team list, use the role menu next to a person to switch them between Editor and Viewer, or the bin icon to remove them. Either takes effect straight away. Anything they added or changed stays.
