Offer a discount for ordering direct

Customers who order from your own site save you the commission delivery apps charge. A discount rewards them for it.

Set it up

Open Design in the sidebar.
In Order-direct discount, enter the Percent off, for example 20.
Enter a Code, using letters, numbers and hyphens only, for example WELCOME20.
Click Save.

Where it shows

A badge appears on your landing page's "Order from our website" card, and the discount is worked into its copy. The card's button includes the code, so customers don't have to type it.

How customers use it

Clicking your landing page's order button applies the code automatically.
Or add ?promo=YOURCODE to any of your links. See Share your website.
Or customers type the code in the promo code box at checkout and click Apply.

What it discounts

The percentage comes off the food subtotal. Tax and tip are then calculated on the discounted amount. The delivery fee isn't discounted.

Turn it off

Clear the code, or set the percentage to 0, and save. There's no separate on/off switch.

Tip: Make the offer simple and time-limited in your own marketing, for example "20% off your first direct order", so it feels like a reason to act now.
